My midsummer moths are inspired by the scarlet tiger moths that visit our garden each year around the time of the summer solstice

Full description
This pretty moth pendant is inspired by the scarlet tiger moths that visit our garden each summer.
Each of my moths is drawn by hand before being cut out from 100% recycled sterling silver sheet using a jeweller's saw. Tiny antennae, forged from recycled sterling silver wire, are added and the silver is textured and polished by hand, giving each moth its unique character. This one features a tiny copper heart inspired by the orange markings on the moth's wings when closed.
Moth - 19mm x 34 mm at widest and longest points (to top of antennae)
Chain - 18 or 24 inch chain sterling silver belcher chain
The silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver obtained from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. It is an excellent choice for the eco conscious as it avoids unnecessary mining.
Your pendant will be presented in a little grey gift box made from 100% recycled fibres on a bed of 100% Eco Fibre filling, wrapped in a band of plant dyed raw organic muslin ribbon produced by fellow Folksy seller Earthed.
