Aventurine is a form of Chalcedony Quartz containing grains of colour-imparting minerals.
It is most commonly found in green, but also in orange, yellow, brown, and, as in this case, blue.
The blue colour comes from inclusions of the mineral dumortierite.
Other well known forms of Chalcedony Quartz are Agate, Carnelian and Onyx.

Full description
Pretty, subtle blue-grey stretch bracelet made from 6mm beads of polished Blue Aventurine and frosted light grey Agate embellished with 7mm Tibetan-style silver coins. These are nickel and lead free.
These opaque Blue Aventurine beads are in shades smoky blue that blend well with the matte grey and shiny silver.
This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (18cm).
Presented in a small organza gift bag.
