March Birthstone - Aquamarine
April Birthstones - Diamond, Clear Quartz, Bloodstone
Larvikite seems at first glance to be a mottled stone of paler and darker grey until light reveals hints of a silvery sheen and flash of blue.
It is named after the region of Larvik in Norway, and was named Norways national stone in 2008.
Serpentine is often referred to under trade names such as New jade or Olive jade, depending on the colour, but is not a Jade at all.
It ranges in colour from a darker green-brown, greyish-green and pale yellow-green.
It often has a mix of these colours giving the appearance of snake skin.
Serpentine will usually have inclusions of black or brown and sometimes swirls of milky cloud shapes.
Contains small parts, not suitable for children.

A mix of 6mm Larvikite, New Jade and Olive Jade with Tibetan style antique gold barrel beads.
The mottled grey Larvikite beads show occasional flashes of silvery-blue in the light, known as the Schiller effect, and are similar in appearance to Labradorite.
New Jade and Olive Jade are trade names for types of Serpentine. New Jade is a very pale, semi-opaque celery green, while Olive Jade has a yellow-green hue.
The Tibetan barrel beads are nickel and leas free.
This bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches (17cm).
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
