Moss Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family.
It is a beautiful sage-green or forest green stone, opaque, translucent or milky, with inclusions of iron or manganese, that look like tendrils of lichen or moss, giving the green colour.
It is thought to bring the wearer closer to nature, aiding with emotional balance, courage and tranquility.

Full description
Pretty, sparkly earrings made from an 8mm bead of Moss Agate topped with sparkly 6mm and 4mm quality Austrian crystal bicones in 'erinite' green, 'light rose' pink and 'peridot satin' green.
The Moss Agate beads are semi-opaque, with a marbled appearance and a deep forest green colour.
A Tibetan-style silver filigree bead separates the Moss Agate and crystals.
The beads are threaded onto sterling silver pins and hang from sterling silver ear-wires that are stamped '925'.
Handmade in my home workshop, here in beautiful Devon, UK, these would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, mother's day, or keep them as a treat for yourself.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.35 inches (3.5cm), excluding the wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
