I bought this beautiful piece of vintage Sanderson from the York Car boot last summer, and I have made it into a collection of cosmetic bags. Now is the season for it to shine. It has washed beautifully, and I love its unusual flowers and colour combinations.

This pretty little vintage fabric clutch bag is perfect for a summer wedding. It will also double up as a practical zip up bag to carry small amounts of toiletries for a weekend away. Made from an unusual vintage Sanderson print, it has a vibrant tropical feel, with all the fun of summer to look forward to. It would make a lovely present for a vintage textile lover, or to carry to a summer wedding.
The fabric has been backed onto canvas to give it some body.
It measures 22 cm across, widening slightly towards the base, and height measures 15 cm.
There is a 22 cm dusty green colour zip fastening, with a pretty flower head pull.
There is a tuck at each end, giving a 3 cm wide base.
The bag has a different pattern placement of the same design on the front and back, and is lined with a bold patterned 70’s poly cotton.
There is a long strap to use as a clutch bag if you like, or to hook up and admire the design.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Spot clean if possible, but it can be washed on a gentle cool wash, and left to dry naturally.
I like to recycle where I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my collection, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class post.
