What a naïve and sweet little embroidery, full of the memories of Christmas! It is nice to think it has a new use, and will once again come out every Christmas to be loved again.

Full description
This festive drawstring bag is made from a lovely old piece of washed and faded vintage table linen. It must have graced many a Christmas table. On the front is an Advent candle design. Its holly leaves and berries are hand stitched by an anonymous seamstress, from little pieces of applique and embroidery. It is a simple unlined bag, with a drawstring fastening, and would make a great little childrens stocking, a storage bag for Christmas decorations, or to use as eco reusable wrapping.
The bag is soft and unlined, and it measures 22cm across the front and 26cm top to bottom.
Three of the sides are edged in red, and there is an applique design of an Advent candle with holly on the front, and 3 tiny buttons.
The drawstring is made from green striped cotton, and the back is a soft, white, cotton moleskin fabric.
The bag is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to try and reuse. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
