Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
I post every day, using Royal Mail First Class for cards, and Track 24 for all other items, and I can post directly to the recipient - see my Upgrades listings. Dispatch times are currently 1-3 days for most of my makes, with a few taking longer as indicated in the item details.
In the busy run up to Christmas, I'm no longer taking commissions for my embroidered play scenes and my patchwork quilts, but I have gift voucher options. The last day for ordering my custom hand embroidered Christmas stockings and Child's Drawing Pictures is Monday 9th December. For all other items I will be open right up until Christmas week.
These luggage tags were designed by my daughter who is studying textile design technology as one of her GCSE subjects. She make customised denim shorts from old jeans and wanted to put the denim from the legs to good use.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Upcycled denim jean gift tags. Perfect to add to gifts and presents for teenagers or eco-concious friends. Looks great aginst simple brown parcel wrapping paper tied with string. Or why not upcycle paper from old magazines for a zero waste wrap.
Each set of 4 gift tags has been created from different denim pieces from the legs of vintage and pre-loved jeans that have been cut down into shorts.
Carefully cut to preserve the iconic seams of the jeans, pieces of light and dark denim are sewn to card luggage tags with the backs left blank for your message. Simply trimmed close to the card edge, the denim is slightly fraying which adds to the casual look. The colour of the card backing is a light brown and they tie with white cotton strings.
The sets shown are examples - you will receive a set chosen at random which will include a variety of blue denim shades and different seam features as indicated by the photographs.
Each tag measures 12 by 6 cm (approx 4.5 by 2.5 inches).
