This unique one of a kind bunting was designed by my daughter who is studying textile design technology as one of her GCSE subjects. She makes customised denim shorts from preloved jeans and wanted to put the left over denim from the legs to good use. And using metal rings to link the flags together adds a really unusual twist - perfect for teenagers.

Full description
This unusual metal linked denim bunting has been made from recycled and upcycled fabrics.
One side of each flag features pieces of light and dark denim carefully cut from upcycled jeans to show the geat double stitched jean seams. The other side has a stylish blue and brown stripe print in 100% cotton that has a homespun look.
But the clever bit is in the links. Each flag has an eyelet in each top corner and they attach together using a metal split ring hoop (the sort you use on keyrings) to each eyelet. There are enough additional hoops to link everything together with three hoops between them.
So you can decide which order to hang the flags - you can mix around the light and dark denim or you can choose to alternate with some of the stripy reverse.
There are 8 flags, each measuring 7.5 inches (19cm) wide and 9 inches deep (22cm).
The full length of the bunting is 72 inches - about 185 cm - if you use all the hoops provided.
