Making old textiles into beautiful new things

I've been making things all my life, taught skills and techniques by my mum and grandmas when I was young and in recent years sharing ideas and craft tutorials over on my blog.
I hate waste and strive to give old things a new life and new purpose whenever practical. Most of the items here have had a previous life as something else. I also use a lot of leftover scraps, house clearance finds etc. Anything to save constantly adding to landfill.
