Happiness is....... taking time out to enjoy the small things

There is an unsung gem of a place in a secret bit of the world, which has no special claim to fame, nor any especially amazing features - it's just a quiet corner where the bees buzz and the birds sing and I potter around my garden, with my chickens and my dog. And I am blessed.

Over the years, by degrees I curated a slower life, more in tune with the world and the seasons , more considered, less materially invested. I know it's not fashionable, but I decided I no longer wanted to be part of the hurly burly, and I began a quest to live a life more present, more concerned with community, home and hearth. And I make things - things that reflect my love of nature, my love of wild flowers and kind people.. This is Dairy Lane, and my little shop is a window into a little piece of it.
