This is the 'Maud' tea cosy
I wanted a thoroughly modern tea cosy but with a hint of those by-gone war year tea times my Grandma was so good at putting together - a nice sturdy pot, a plate of digestives and the radio playing mellow tunes. I remember those days so wistfully, sitting and knitting Maud made me smile.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note - the postal van only comes to Dairy Lane on a Monday (not bank hols) - so your order will be posted at the next available Monday after you place/pay for your order. THE MAUD COSY
A roomy tea cosie/cosy for family size 2 pint / 1.2L tea pots.
Shown here modelled on a Falcon enamel teapot, it looks equally at home on a round bellied romantic shaped 2 pint pot.
Knitted in soft polymide aran weight yarn in a muted teal-ish colour way. (which is a difficult colour to describe actually,) it has a rather retro look, knitted in a nice textural moss stitch.
The base is ribbed in deep turquoise Onion yarn and topped off with a soft pom pom. The ginger accents are also by Onion yarn which is a natural wool and nettle blended yarn
A substantial tea cosy with smart good looks that has just a little hint of the no nonsense tea times of the war years.
