This cosy falls as part of my natural collection, and was destined to be hand dyed. But I loved the natural tone of this particular yarn so much, I decided it was just too good to change.
As I knitted this cosy, I had in mind the sudden explosion of dandelions that just set alive large swathes of grass both in my garden and along the road verges that surround Dairy Lane. I have come to love this wash of yellow and love to watch the bees positively drunk on the early nectar these often misunderstood plants provide.

Please note - the postal van only comes to Dairy Lane on a Monday (not bank hols) - so your order will be posted at the next available Monday after you place/pay for your order. THE DANDE COSY
I love knitting , and a good cuppa, so I can't quite help myself indulging making cosies which
satisfies both activities - and I think you will really like this creation, made with springtime in mind
This hand knitted tea cosy, called 'The Dande', is made from Bakewell aran weight yarn, which comes from 100% Blue Faced Leicester wool in a natural linen tone, that I think will complement any tea time table.
Using 'dandelion stitch' throughout, there is a little honey bee who is quite spoilt for choice.
plus there is a rather fine unfurled dandelion display at the top.
This cosy is a jacket style, meaning the spout and handle are available for use, and it will cover a standard Mason Cash style 4-6 cup tea pot. So you can indulge in cup after cup of nice hot tea.
