Hi everyone, March is upon us already. Yikes, that went quick! Upcoming celebrations; the Festival of Holi on 14th, the Spring Equinox on the 20th, Mother's Day on the 30th, all celebrating new life and the oncoming of Spring. I have a beautiful selection of gemstone jewellery for Mother's Day, and among others, I will bring Aquamarine and Jasper Birthstones to celebrate Pisces and Aries zodiac. I am excited to bring you plenty of nature inspired jewellery too as the Spring moves forward. Handcrafted Genuine Gemstone Jewellery from the South West

Hello, I’m Melanie. I don't know about you, but I've always been thrilled every time I come across one of those sparkly striated mineral stones just laying on the beach like a piece of offered up treasure. As a kid foraging for such rocks on the Cornish beaches of the West Country became a way of life, and into adulthood I still get that exhilaration when I handle Gemstones; the colours, the inclusions, the shapes; they are little pieces of earth magic. I want to keep those natural treasures with me by wearing them and having them close to my body so that I can feel that connection to the earth.

To do just that, I personally create unique pieces of Jewellery at home in my workshop with beautiful ethically sourced Gemstones mined from the UK and around the world. Wherever possible I always use UK suppliers with a fair practice ethos of sourcing and supporting mining communities in the continents from which many precious minerals originate. I am also passionate about quality and customer service, thus all my precious metal plated jewellery components come with a lifetime warranty guarantee where I offer repair or replace against fault and tarnish. All my Catpurr branded packaging is made of recycled or recyclable materials being both functional and beautiful in its simplicity.
