I'm deeply inspired by the flora and fauna surrounding me, the idea that you can preserve a moment in time.
I strive to capture the essence of the plant its unique character, translating its organic lines into the enduring form of a vessel.
The sense of bringing the outdoors in.
All my work is sustainably made in my small garden studio ,surrounded by my own collection of garden flowers and often my beloved dog Ash by my side.

Full description
This handcrafted ceramic vase has been decorated with ami seed heads, bought to life using a black colour wash. Copper oxide has been delicately dotted around to lift the design, further details have then been handpainted using a black underglaze.
The overall design has been carefully considered to contrast with the natural graceful curves of the tulip, embodying their natural elegance .
The vase is crafted out of stoneware and then fired to 1250'.
The piece has then been glazed inside and out.
It is the perfect vessel for a collection of tulips or seed heads.
Approximately 16.5cm by 9.5cm ,by 9.5cm
Designed by Hannah Goldsmith in Lincolnshire Wolds
