Heather Moore of Skinny laminx is my favourite designer of fabrics. They have a mid century modern vibe with a modern feel in fresh colours you don’t often see and wonderful quality. I occasionally import these from South Africa and then just have to turn them into bags with a difference that you definitely won’t see anywhere else!

Difficult to resist using Skinny laminx designed fabrics, they are so different, fun and funky and this one has a definite mid century feel with its stylised flowers. The designer fabric is sourced from South Africa, rarely found in UK and paired up with a peachy spot lining that highlights the centre of the 'Flowerfields' fabric flowers, it makes a wonderfully stylish Toots Totes “Rosa” tote bag. It’s a unique item and you won’t find another like it!
The cotton lining includes both a zipped and cute elastic topped pocket. Beaded zip pulls help you get into the top and the inside pocket which gives additional security.
The leather handles are a good length so that you can carry the bag on your shoulder or elbow as you prefer. A soft wadding makes the bag comfortable against your body as you move around.
It measures about 15 x 4 x 11 inches, has a reinforced base and loads of room for just about anything you care to carry! Take it shopping, to work or on a day out. It would also make a smashing gift.
