This piece continues my fascination with ancient Japanese Raku firing techniques. The experimental method of reduction produces exciting and unpredictable results.

Full description
High quality, hand made, small pinch pot for sale using the Japanese Raku firing technique. Raku
stoneware clay fired in kiln, then sealed in a reduction chamber filled with paper and wood
shavings once caught alight. Due to the porous nature of this surface, it is not recommended for
use with food or water, and is purely decorative.
