This piece continues my fascination with ancient Japanese Raku firing techniques. The experimental method of reduction produces exciting and unpredictable results.

Full description
Handmade teabowl hand carved using the Japanese Kurinuki technique. Fired in a Raku kiln and glazed using the Obvara technique. Decorative only. This glaze is porous and not food safe.
