Full description
Bring a touch of springtime magic into your home with this handmade stained glass suncatcher! Inspired by the first daffodils of the season, this unique piece blends three different glassmaking techniques.
First, I carefully crafted the delicate fused glass daffodils, capturing their bright, cheerful charm. These were then set into a fused glass circle, creating a vibrant spring meadow scene. To frame the design, I used the Tiffany copper foil method to add a beautiful stained glass border in warm, earthy tones. A soft copper patina enhances the richness of the solder, and the piece is finished with a protective wax polish.
This suncatcher measures approximately 17 cm in diameter, with the central fused glass section at 10 cm. It hangs from a warm copper-coloured chain, bringing a stunning play of light into any window. The total hanging length is 26 cm.
Gifting? I can send this directly to someone special with a handwritten note at no extra charge! It will arrive beautifully wrapped in white tissue paper, finished with a purple ribbon.
