Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new addition to my flower heart range. A primrose, lovely yellow with bright green leaves. The flower is enclosed in a heart shape with the surrounding glass in clear, gently textured glass.
I've used a pretty little nugget at the centre which I fused in my kiln. It's topped with dichroic glass so extra sparkly.
Hanging in the window the Iris heart catches the light and is a very pretty ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart which is 12 cm long and 10.5 cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
