I stayed in North Norfolk on a farm next to the River Glaven. A barn owl arrived every evening sitting on a post by the door. I painted him and placed him inside a medieval style border. I later scanned the original painting and had some decals made. thought it would work well on a brooch so I enlisted the help of a ceramic studio in Cornwall who fired my decals and completed the brooch, all made by hand.

This charming ceramic brooch features my original artwork of a barn owl. It measures one and a half inches diameter and comes complete with a smart black box.
