Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
I post every day, using Royal Mail First Class for cards, and Track 24 for all other items, and I can post directly to the recipient - see my Upgrades listings. Dispatch times are currently 1-3 days for most of my makes, with a few taking longer as indicated in the item details.
In the busy run up to Christmas, I'm no longer taking commissions for my embroidered play scenes and my patchwork quilts, but I have gift voucher options. The last day for ordering my custom hand embroidered Christmas stockings and Child's Drawing Pictures is Monday 9th December. For all other items I will be open right up until Christmas week.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Christmas mini fabric hoop picture with hand embroidery, featuring an elf riding a unicorn with a festive tree. Ideal as a gift - pop one in a stocking, or send in the post - it comes in a card box and is small enough through a letterbox. I can even send directly on your behalf - see my shop listings for postage options.
Available singly, or as a set of two - each will be different images from the same print. I also offer a set of two featuring another print with cats and baubles (see last picture).
As I am trying to be as sustainable as possible, I try and use my fabric off cuts from my other makes. The fabric for these little pictures is cut from prints I use in my Christmas stockings. Each picture will vary slightly, depending on the offcut, but all will feature a lovely unicorn and a tree, together with lovely flowers and leaves.
I fussy cut the fabric to give a nicely placed image - exact placement will vary - and add a layer of soft wadding. I then embellish the fabric with hand embroidery - this one has daisy loops and chain stitch on the unicorn's mane and tail, and triple crosses on the tree.
The fabric is securely fitted into a Elbese wooden embroidery hoop, and finished neatly at the back with pure wool felt blanket stitched all the way round the ring. The felt colours vary but will co-ordinate with the main fabric.
Size - 5cm diameter, with hanging 3cm loop.
Care - dust with a dry cloth or brush
