Amethyst (purple quartz) is the birthstone for Aquarius and February, and the stone for the 6th and 17th wedding anniversaries.

It was believed he wore an amethyst ring engraved with a cupid to enable young soldiers to recognise him.

A mix of 6mm Amethyst and 6mm Mother-of-Pearl beads, separated by sparkling Swarovski 'light amethyst' crystals which catch the light beautifully.
The mother of pearl has a lovely warm cream colour and a subtle shimmer that adds to the luxuriant feel of this piece.
The necklace then graduates to 4mm mother of pearl and 4mm amethyst beads.
Accented with warm glints of tiny 2mm gold vermeil spacer beads.
Fastens with a gold Tibetan rose toggle clasp.
This gorgeous necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches (42cm).
