Kids' drawings are wonderful - they often have really vibrant colours and the simple shapes they choose are so effective at saying what they want to say without clutter. I love recreating them as fabric art.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
Love your child's drawings and messages? Let me recreate one of them as a beautiful fabric picture, through my vibrant use of hand cut applique and hand embroidery stitches. As well as decorating your own home, I think this heirloom wall art would make a perfect gift for grandparents or a favourite aunt or uncle.
Your unique picture will be beautifully made in 100% cotton with lots of hand embroidered motifs in wool felt, and embellished with buttons, trim or textural fabrics depending on the theme/drawing. It will be lightly quilted, backed in calico and come complete with a cord ready to hang. Photos are examples, as each is unique.
TIMESCALE - It usually takes 2 weeks to make the picture AFTER I have received your child's drawing. -
SIZE - 2 sizes available
8 by 8 inches (20 by 20 cm)
12 by 10 inches (25 by 30).
The actual size or proportions may differ a little depending on the art work returned. I can also do custom sizes if you want to mount the fabric picture in a frame.
Other sizes can be made as custom pieces - contact me for details.
Care: Sponge clean or gentle hand washing. Natural drying.
