Full description

A big hand stamped vintage tablespoon with the wording 'For when you have a LOT on your PLATE' plus a little heart. A thoughtful gift for anyone who's going through challenging times, especially if they love their food!

The spoon is a generous 20cm long and is a nice heavy plain 'old english' style design. Big enough to dole out mashed potatoes or rice pudding, and handy for measuring tablespoonsful of ingredients or folding-in a cake mix. The lettering is coloured black with a water-based, non-toxic acrylic paint (I wish all hand stampers would bother to tell you what they colour their lettering with, especially on things that will undoubtedly be licked at some point!) and if the silver plating develops tarnish, a drop of silver polish or a wipe with an impregnated silver cleaning cloth should bring it up nice and shiny again.

I have lots of spoons and can do other wording to order - there is a 'Custom Personalised Spoons' collection in my shop or you can just send me a message describing your dream spoon and I'll see what I can do!
