Feeling fed up with the current state of the world? Needing a giggle, some positivity or just a rude word to help you cope? Or were you just looking for a gift for mum on Mother's Day? A handstamped spoon is the answer. No, really, it is!
If you don't see a spoon here that says exactly what you want, you can order a bespoke personalised spoon that says... exactly what you want! See the 'Custom Personalised Spoons' collection or just click the 'contact' link in the menu bar above.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A vintage pickle fork with an ornate 'Kings Pattern' handle, hand stamped with OLIVE YOU and a tiny heart. A sweet little gift to declare your feelings for a fellow foodie, whether you give it just on its own or with a jar of deluxe olives and perhaps a pretty handmade saucer or coaster to stand them on (there are lots of that sort of thing here on Folksy!)
The fork is a nice heavy silver-plated one and the decoration is repeated on the back. It's about 16cm long and has three tines. I've coloured the lettering black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic paint. Hand washing will prolong the pigment life and be kinder to the silver plating than a dishwasher. Any tarnish can be easily removed with a drop of silver polish or one of those impregnated silver-cleaning cloths. Avoid leaving the fork standing in acidic liquids such as vinegar pickles, preserved lemons or chutneys, as these can cause pitting and discoloration to the plating.
