Full description
A very silly message - 'horse p-bes' - hand stamped on to a vintage nickel silver alloy teaspoon. My husband said it because he was having a particularly bad day and it made me laugh and cheered him up too, which was the point. Humour is very good as a coping mechanism. Which is why (unless someone's recently bought it) there is also a spoon in the shop that says 'horse f-rts' - another of his responses to 'How are you today?'
The wording is in black lettering in the bowl and the spoon is approximately 13cm long. It has an absolutely plain handle and I think it's probably 1940s. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Hand wash with care to prolong the pigment life.
Please note this is a vintage spoon so it has dings, scratches and wear marks although it's still fully functional as a teaspoon. Have a proper look at the photos so you know what you'll be getting. I promise I don't do mockups.
