I think this is my favourite book cover to date. It was a joy to stitch and I used some well loved scraps of fabric to create it.

This spring themed journal cover is created by hand stitching scraps of floral themed fabric to a calico base. Embellished with buttons, Suffolk puffs, a pink metal butterfly, a beaded and nylon fabric dragonfly, rickrack and a recycled fabric flower. White lace forms the closure for the journal together with a white plastic buckle.
The lined pages are 100% recyclable in this note book which measures 15.5cm wide, 21.5 cm long, 1.5cm deep. The fabric cover can be removed to add to another notebook of this size.
Please note there are some raw edges but every piece has been well sewn to the calico base and is unlined.
The bookmark is created from clear vinyl filled with odd strands of embroidery threads, tape measures and a paper holder for stranded thread and machine stitched around the edges.
Approx Dimensions 22cmx5cm
