Full description
An A6 journal notebook covered with a beautiful, sustainable grass paper depicting wildflowers and filled with blank ivory paper. It can be used as a journal, sketchbook, notebook or as a blank planner or diary.
It has 50 pages (100 sides) of sustainably sourced 120gsm paper, suitable for any writing or drawing medium. The pages are folded into 5 signatures (folios) which are then stitched together to create a beautiful exposed spine binding. This binding allows the book to lay completely flat when open.
Coptic stitch binding is one of the most ancient forms of exposed binding - striking to look at and deceptively strong.
The book is cut, folded, glued and stitched by me, entirely by hand.
Dimensions: A5 (21 x 15cm approximately)
