This was among a pile of cross stitch pieces I recently found in a charity shop and I knew they could all be recycled into bags.

Full description
This purple batik fabric has a cross stitch panel of African Violets and leaves with a zigzag border in mauve stitches incorporated within the front of this purse.
The back is created from the batik fabric and the deep green nylon all purpose zip, to match the cross stitch leaves is set into the top of the bag and finished with a thin piece of mauve satin ribbon attached to the zip pull.
A matching mauve woven fabric tape has been used to finish off where the zip attaches to the bag.
The cotton lining has a white background with a tiny floral design in purple with green foliage and dots.
A lovely little pouch for holding all kinds of items.
This piece of cross stitch was found in a charity shop and was too good to leave and I knew it would make a great addition to a bag.
Please note there is a slight fold line that runs through the cross stitch piece but no amount of pressing could remove it. I don’t think it really shows in the finished piece but do look at the relevant photo.
