I love gardening and I have so many bits and bobs - and lots of seeds! - to store indoors that I was searching for a handy tin with an easy lift-off lid to use.
But I wanted one which would be attractive enough if on display.
I saw this ideal tin and then found what I thought was the perfect napkin for it!

Full description
I decorated this attractively shaped (oval) cream-coloured tin (with a lift-off lid) on both sides with a paper napkin image of a garden scene and gardening implements.
I also added garden tool and butterfly images to the lid. I then varnished the images for added durability.
I have tied a stamped ‘Gardener’s Tin’ brown label to the handle to add to the tin’s rustic look and which perhaps can be used if giving the tin as a gift.
This is a very useful tin which looks attractive on a shelf; it measures 8.5 inches (21.5cms) high (7 inches/18cms plus the lid and handle height) and is approximately 8 inches (20.5cms) at its widest part and 4.25”/11cms at its narrowest.
The tin can be used for all the helpful little things a gardener collects, including twine and labels and plant rings, or it could be used for seed packets or even bulbs.
