I find very old photographs fascinating, particularly those of children, who must by now be long passed and yet are constantly the young age that was captured by the camera.
It would be wonderful to know more of these three little girls, and whether they lived long and happy lives. But I am pleased to continue their childhood by using their sweet images on my decorated hearts.

Full description
This small wooden heart has been painted and then decorated with a charming (paper napkin) image of a vintage girl, possibly Edwardian.
The image is in a sepia tone and looks aged, whilst the reverse side of the heart is plain, painted in a brown or brown-white sponged mix colour. The heart has a brown ribbon to complete the vintage look of the piece.
The heart measures approximately 8cms x 8 cms.
This heart can be used at Christmas or all year round. It would look lovely on a tree, but also is a good size for hanging on its own from a mantle or cupboard knob or hook. It can add to a vintage decoration theme anywhere in the home.
I have decorated this heart in three different designs; three little girls that I call ‘Blonde’, ‘Tousled’ and ‘Ribbon’, with regards to their hair. This listing is for the ‘Blonde’ girl. Please see my other listings for the other two girls.
