The lovely seaside scene on this napkin seemed just right for decorating boxes and other home items, to make them not only attractive but to make them evoke memories of a happy, warm visit to the seaside or beach.

Full description
This is a plain silver coloured tin with a decorated (napkin decoupaged) lid.
The lid was painted white and then decorated with an attractive paper napkin image of a seaside scene, with a lighthouse and yacht, and with sunbeams breaking through the clouds. The lid was then varnished for protection; I purposefully did not multi-sand and varnish the image but left it to be as tactile as possible.
The crisp image has the lovely blue and yellows of the seaside.
The tin measures 23cms x 18.5cms and 8.9 cms height.
This is an attractive and unusual storage tin which can be used for anything you wish (although I would not recommend it for food items) from letters, stationery and photos to treasures and other memorabilia – particularly, perhaps, holiday memorabilia, including shells.
