This pretty fabric gift tag is not just any ordinary gift tag!
Once your gift has been received by the recipient, rather than throwing the gift tag away, it can be re-used for years to come as a handy bookmark and a reminder of the special gift you gave them.
Made from two layers of cotton calico, the front features a fabric collage with a mix of plain and floral fabrics and a little touch of lace. The lino printed embellishment, designed and hand cut by myself, is layered on top with hand stitched details, and underneath, sits a hand stamped 'with love' sentiment.
A hole was made at the top of the gift tag with a special tool, then hand stitched to a neat finish, where a co-ordinating fabric tie finishes the tag off beautifully.
Once the gift has been opened, the tag could also be framed and kept as a keepsake and miniature piece of original textile art.
Can also be used in journals and scrapbooking.
Tag measures approximately 5 x 2.75 inches.
