Full description
This colourful abstract piece of original textile art has been completely hand stitched.
Initially, I started with the background, using acrylic paints and a technique that allows the colours to blend together to give the effect I wanted.
Next, my original drawn design of intertwined circles was broken down into sections, some filled with felt shapes, all hand cut; matching the colours with the background.
The remaining spaces were filled with several different embroidery stitches in the same colours, blue, pink and green.
The piece is mounted onto mount board and laced at the back should you wish to frame it.
