Boho hare tote bag. This lovely Boho style tote bag is made from salmon pink fabric with an appliqué scene depicting a hare leaping over a large semi-circular flower. The leaping hare is made from two-tone gold satin-finish fabric with an Art Deco style curved lattice pattern. I've added a tiny black sequin for an eye. (PLEASE NOTE: the hare fabric has a small, faint mark towards the head end. This is less pronounced than it appears in the photos but is reflected in the price.) I've cut the semi-circular flower from a lovely embroidered cream fabric. The bold flower features shades of hot pink, salmon pink and gold. Below the flower, the bag is trimmed with a length of wide cream cotton lace with a tasselled lower edge. The bag is lined with golden yellow fabric with a pattern of small shiny squares.
This versatile tote bag is perfect for use as a shopping bag but it could also be used as a handbag. With its delightful leaping hare and trimmings, it would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves the Boho style and/or hares.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
