Full description
This eye catching large drop shaped pendant features a bright yellow cabochon of bowlerite which is bezel set in sterling silver. The bowlerite is really bright attention grabbing acid yellow, almost neon, with a squiggle of bright blue running diagonally across it, the pendant is reversible and the back is yellow with a splodge of blue to one side. This pendant is sure to be noticed and add a splash of colour to any outfit.
Bowlerite is the name given to the hard plastic recovered from the outside of old 10 pin bowling balls when they are no longer fit for throwing down the lanes so this is a great bit of recycling. You can see several other pieces of rough material from the same ball in some of the photos, it must have been quite a sight rolling down the alley. The rough isn't included in the sale, I thought that it would be interesting to see the transformation that the material goes through and if you want some earrings to match it is worth dropping me a message to see if I have any of the rough left!
Measures a sizable 44mm top to bottom (excluding bail) by 26mm across, it comes complete with a silver snake chain but the bail could easily take a leather or rubber thong - drop me a message if you are interested in one of these options and we can discuss lengths and colours. Comes in a sleek black box.
