Full description
This original textile art picture, designed and made by myself features a lovely stone effect bird bath, surrounded by cobblestones and lush green foliage; where two little birds are ready to take a dip.
The bird bath, birds and cobblestones have been individually hand cut and free motion machine stitched onto an ivory cotton fabric.
I then hand embroidered the birds, water and foliage to add more texture to the piece.
A machine stitched fine black border surrounds the image to frame it, and the edges have been left raw.
Mounted onto a sky blue, hand painted, artist's canvas which measures 20 x 20cms.
The picture can be freestanding on a shelf or small easel.
It can also be hung on a wall, but fixings will be required.
Ideal gift for anyone who enjoys watching the birds in their own garden, and would look lovely displayed in a conservatory, garden room, or summer house setting.
