Handmade Magical Designs For All Occasions!

Hi, my name is Colleen Morris, and I am the proud seller behind Toadstool Treasures.

I live in a small village with my husband, my good old dog, my new hyper pup, and my loving cat. I work in my home office (quite corner of the living room) when time permits and often find myself lost for hours in a new design or crafting. I love a good coffee, a good book, and rainy, windy day. I am inspired by nature and often incorporate this into my designs.

I have been creating and designing from a young age and was first encourage by my Mum to try cross stitch as I was always so interested in her beautiful work. This sparked a chain reaction that has fuelled my life-long love of crafts. Embroidery, cross stitch, and design were always my go-to until I broke my leg as a teenager leading me to find a long-forgotten crochet hook in an old knitting bag. Not knowing what it was or how to use it I learned as I went along and have never looked back, loving every second. This slowly but surely led me to expanding my repertoire of crafts. I love learning and improving my crafts just as much as I love making them.

The crafts you can find in my shop are crochet, embroidery, tatting, design, and salvage. I craft my items producing very little waste, re-using and re-purposing where I can. Most of the packaging I use can also be recycled easily at home.
