Lover of upcycling, especially old jumpers into table mats and tea and cafetiere cosies, plus maker of beeswax candles and fircone firelighters.

I have always loved reusing and upcycling, long before it became a ‘thing’! It is just a natural way of life. The beeswax products are inspired by the original Granny Bee, my mum, who together with my dad was a bee farmer and is still a maker of beautiful candles. I am lucky to have been taught by her, and dad will be watching from above, sorry that I never became a beekeeper, but I hope pleased I am carrying on some of the traditions and knowledge!

The inspiration for the felted items is more prosaic – I ruined a lovely merino jumper in the washing machine and could not bear to waste it. I realised it would make a great table mat, and the ideas developed from there.
