My inspiration for these felted items is something we can all relate to! I ruined a lovely merino jumper in the washing machine and could not bear to waste it. I realised it would make a great table mat, and my ideas developed from there. ● This Easter egg began as jumper which had been discarded as it had some holes. I rescued it and have given it a new lease of life – there will never be another one like it!

Easter decoration made from an upcycled jumper, filled with wool and hand blanket stitched. The button is a vintage glass one from my grandmother's button box.
