The birthstones for October and Libra are Opal and Tourmaline.
Here I have used a nugget of natural Pink Opal with beads of faceted Pink Tourmaline.
Pink Opal is a variety of common Opal, composed of Opal, Palygorskite and Chalcedony.
The Opal gives a soft lustre, Palygorskite gives the pink colour and Chalcedony adds patterns of white, grey and black.
Tourmaline comes in a range of colours, but I have chosen beads of a deep raspberry pink that are faceted to give a subtle glint in the light.
I have also used beads of Rose Quartz, sacred to Venus, Libra's planetary ruler.

Full description
Dainty, sparkly bracelet in shades of pale pink, raspberry and white.
The centrepiece features a Pink Opal nugget, bracketed by trios of 4mm top quality Austrian crystal bicones in the colours 'fuchsia' and 'light rose'.
The crystals are highlighted with tiny 1.8mm gold vermeil spacer beads.
The remainder of the circle consists of pairs of Rose Quartz with frosted White Jade in the middle.
Each trio of gemstones is separated by a 2.5mm faceted Pink Tourmaline bead.
The natural Pink Opal nugget is approximately 5x8mm in size, a rough-cut oval shape in shades of pale salmon pink with inclusions of black Chalcedony.
The faceted, PinkTourmaline beads add a pop of deep raspberry colour and a subtle glint when they catch the light.
Hand made in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely birthday present, especially for someone born in October as Opal and Tourmaline are October birthstones.
Also makes an excellent gift for an anniversary, bridesmaid, best friend, or as a treat for yourself.
This stretch bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), and is a snug fit on my 6 inch (15cm) wrist.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
