Full description
This brooch reflects the celebration of Peace on VE Day, Victory in Europe. A hand embroidered scene of the Dove of Peace flying over a Poppy field of remembrance, reflects the essence of VE Day.
To create this scene, a Poppy button and an enamel Dove are sewn onto circles of blue and red felt. Poppies are hand embroidered in green and red embroidery threads with green and blue seed and bugle beads.
A metal brooch pin with a safety catch, for secure wear, is sewn on the back.
This brooch is 2.20 inches 5.50 cms in diameter. A nice wearable size.
This Hand Embroidered Peace Poppy Brooch is ideal to wear on VE- 80 Day in May…..reflecting this historic event.
