This started as a test to see how detailed and complex an inlay I could make. I was doing some other Welsh items so the dragon was a natural choice.

Full description
A bit late for St Davids day.. A Welsh dragon - Y Ddraig Goch wood inlay. The background is beautifully coloured walnut, inlayed with pale holly.
I've added a bracket to the back to allow it to be hung on a wall.
115 x 80 x 3 mm solid walnut (not plywood). A natural finishing oil has been applied (about 5 coats) to give a satin finish.
