I called this one, 'Parasol' as I thought it looked like a pretty pink summer parasol. The umbel flower head of the Wallichianum is so easy to love, they press well and give so much detail in the Cyanotype.

Full description
Original Art in a hoop- The pressed flower from Selinum Wallichianum looks a picture in this Botanical Hoop. Handmade on 100% Cotton, it highlights the delicate tiny flowers through Cyanotype 'photography'. Some of the umbel flowers are adorned with embroidered pretty pink French knots, all set off against a Denim Blue coloured background, within the circle.
The back is finished with white felt and a ribbon is added to hang the hoop, it would look equally lovely stood in a suitable stand on any shelf or dresser.

Named 'Parasol', it is numbered and is an original artwork. It measures approximately 5 ".
The hoop is made from quality Bamboo, and will come carefully protected in a clear bag and care instructions are included, Dust only do not wash. As with all art, it should be displayed out of direct sunlight, and not in areas of high humidity such as bathrooms. It will be posted in a protective box.
