The colour of the wood and its grain is usually the starting point with my jewellery pieces. When even a small piece of wood is sanded and polished its inner beauty is revealed. Add the reactive chemistry of hand poured resin with embedded natural materials and it produces a truly unique piece of jewellery. I love working with wood and the use of resin was an interesting addition.

Full description
This pendant is about 2.5 inches long (approx 6cms) and is handmade from reclaimed sycamore wood combined with hand-poured, clear resin. Fragments of dried leaves have been added to the resin and a piece of recycled copper was used to line the pendant bail. This is a handmade item and is a unique piece - no two items I make are the same.
The pendant is sold with a faux suede, coffee-coloured, knotted cord with a drop of approx.15 inches. (38cms). This photo shows it hung on cotton cord so to see how the suede cord looks please look at my other items.
