I work with wood as a hobby, and I realised how with careful sanding and shaping I could use small, leftover pieces to make jewellery items. Leaving a 'raw' unshaped end on the wood and adding hand poured resin to enclose it allows me to create some uniquely different pieces.

Full description
This pendant is just over 2 inches long (approx 5cms) and is handmade from reclaimed elder wood combined with hand-poured resin.
Elder is a hardwood and when sanded and polished, comes up beautifully pale-coloured and straight-grained.The resin contains fine pigments to create the misty effect which shimmer golden in the light.
The pendant is sold with a faux suede, coffee-coloured, knotted cord with a drop of approx.12 inches. (30cms). In the photo it is hung on cotton cord so to see how the suede cord appears please look at my other items.
