Watch this space! I am gradually updating my Folksy Shop - this will take me a few weeks as I get to grips with setting up card payments, listings and so on!
I had made a version in copper which was in metalworking terms easier, so set about making something more challenging: stainless cannot be cut with a saw or by fritction, it has to shear - otherwise its a bit harder than copper or brass - this made it ideal as both a challenge and a new shop item of jewellery! The idea behgind this and the original was I had seen circular earrings textured on one side, and wanted to make a version where you could see both smooth and textured sides at once.

Stainless steel 'half textured swirl' earrings, this is a variation on my copper earrings of the same design - but made from the harder to work with stainless steel, but still textured on one side and polished smooth on the other.
This gives it a totally different aesthetic to the copper version and would suit different outfits whilst still being an eye catching contrast between texture and shiny surfaces.
The Earrings hang down approximately 1 5/8" or 4.1cm in length, and are about 3/4" or 1.9cm wide. They will swing round a little when wearing them so they tend to catch the light from all angles.
As these feature stainless steel earwires handmade by me, they should suffer less from allergy issues than copper or brass varieties.
All goods come from a pet and smoke free home and are disptached as quickly as I can, all items are well packaged in not only a display box as pictured but also suitable outer packing materials to prevent damage.
