This fraying piece of hand embroidery was too good to leave in the shop and I was thrilled to give it a new lease of life.

Full description
This zipped pouch is made of a pink cotton with a white dot design covered in a pink sparkly organza and held in place with a variety of machine stitches in a white thread.
The hand embroidered scene of a cottage with a flower filled front garden is stitched on a piece of pale pink satin and has been cut out from another project. I have hand stitched it to the front of the bag in all its tatty glory as to not lose any of the beautiful stitching. I have added hand made Suffolk puffs with a pearl bead centre to hide the fraying edges on opposite sides. Whoever cut it up didn’t use a ruler!
A pink nylon all purpose zip forms closure and a detachable ring with 3 garden themed charms is attached to the zip with a lobster clip.
The inside is a deep pink cotton twill fabric.
The picture of the bag on the chair holds my pyjamas but you could use this beautiful bag for all kinds of uses.
