Spring is in the air… well OK, for most of us in GB it isn’t quite yet, but it’s coming! So why not greet it with a spoon or two, whether that’s a valentine gift, some plant labels for the garden, or one of my unique naturist spoons for brewing up in the great outdoors once it’s warmed up a bit?
And of course if you don't see a spoon here that says exactly what you want, you can order a bespoke personalised spoon that says... exactly what you want! See the 'Custom Personalised Spoons' collection or just click the 'contact' link in the menu bar above.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A vintage fruit pattern embossed 'berry' spoon that I've handstamped around the edge:
PLENTY AND GRACE
BE TO THIS PLACE
and because I couldn't resist it I then added:
NOW FILL YOUR FACE
The spoon is made of a nickel silver alloy. It has scalloped edges and measures approx. 21cm long - a nice size for serving dessert. It would make a fun little gift for a housewarming, wedding or anniversary.
The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand.
You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. Please note that it is a vintage item, I would guess 1920s to 1930s, and it's been used and loved so it has scratches and wear marks in accordance with its age. Also, as it's alloy rather than plated it's never going to polish up to quite the same 'white' shiny finish as a silver or EPNS spoon. AND two of the big letters didn't stamp cleanly (see last photo) so I've reduced the price a bit to reflect this.
You'll find more big spoons in the 'Dessert and Serving Spoons' collection in my shop and of course I'm always happy to take commissions, just ask.
