I love foxes but so rarely saw them when I lived in the countryside. Devon is the most hunted county in England, when it came to hunts on horseback, and although hunting with more than 2 dogs is illegal in England, the law is flouted all the time. Now that I live in a larger town I hope to see foxes more often. Mid winter is the perfect time to see our native red foxes in their full russet finery, so the perfect decoration for a mid winter tree.
